I will be celebrating the June 1st release of my latest (and hopefully greatest) book in the Glass Slipper series,NOT SO SNOW WHITE. But wait! My best pal Jill Shalvis also has a book coming out on June 1, a Brava titled AUSSIE RULES.

So we thought we’d have a special combination Friday Giveaway…of course, it will mean trekking around both of our websites to get the answer, but you won’t have to look further than our websites to come up with the goods. So, now it is time for me to bid farewell to my lovely Phil and his infamous Bathmat of International Elimination. (He did give me a nice going away present though….did you see that eyebrow pop there at the end? Sigh. I know that was just for me.) FINALLY a show ends in a very satisfactory way. Loved the final leg and the final task. Most especially, I loved that BJ and Tyler made it to the mat first and won The Amazing Race.

They truly had a wonderful time and proved you could enjoy what you’re seeing, and the people you meet along the way, even while racing for a million dollars. The Frats came in second (and not a close second - the flags did them in) with Ray and Yolanda bringing up the rear. (And yeah, Ray wasn’t exactly hugging all over her, was he? I’m wondering how long that relationship is gonna last.)

All in all, one of my favorite seasons. Some fun teams, not too much bickering, pairs who treated each other with respect, and, most importantly, seemed to be enjoying themselves rather than be stressed out the entire time. I hope they continue with that same tone next season.

So…one week of American Idol left and then nothing to MAC, y’all! I guess we’ll need to decide what show(s) to MAC over the summer months. I’m thinkin’ if there’s going to be a play-by-play, I might have to go with that dysfunctional group we all know and love, yes, I’m talking about Big Brother.

This time around it’s an All Star version, so it could just be the most fun we never had. Apparently the producers will come up with a field of previous contestants and we, America, yes, the very same people who voted Chris and Eliot off of American Idol and left us with Kat as a possible winner, will be trusted to select who actually goes in the house. I’m thinking major train wreck of mammoth proportions. Good times!
