It’s Friday!
Must be time to giveaway some free books - woot!
But first….anyone still watch Grey’s Anatomy? Because last night was like Old School Grey’s. Thank’s Shonda…you’re finding your way back. Tyne Daly rocked it as Derek’s mother. Love how no one could keep from telling her the truth…except Hunt. The shower scene (no, not what you’re thinking!) with him and Cristina was probably one of the more powerful moments in recent episodes. But, wow, was I the only one who had to cover my eyes for the last sixty seconds while SK (Serial Killer) literally bashed his own brains in? Yikes! Eric Stolz is looking at Emmy time, don’t you think?
For those of you who have asked. my dog, Scamp, is doing well. His paw is healing. My son’s puppy, Lilly, is also doing great. I promise, more pictures next week! She’s growing fast. And you’ve asked what kind of dog she is…well….as a pound puppy, she does have an interesting lineage. Her mother was a yellow lab, and her father? A dachsund. I know. Bold little guy, huh?
I’m puppy sitting this am, so hopefully we’ll have more photos to share soon.
Okay, okay, free stuff!
Everyone who commented was in on the running….and every comment got you an entry (up to one per day)….and the three winning blog babes are? Jane, Andrea, and Miranda! Yay!! Please email me at donna@donnakauffman.com with your addresses and a few picks from my (newly updated!) website bookshelf (in case I’m out of your first choice) and I will get your prizes out to ya.
Check in Monday for the rules for next Friday’s giveaway….and some more MAC coming next week. Only a few weeks and February will bring us all kinds of reality goodies. But, until then…we’ve got AI to tide us over. It’s inauguration week, and given I live just outside of DC, I plan to basically not go anywhere the next five days. Mostly because, well, you can’t. Everything is blocked off. And what’s not is gridlocked. And it’s cold. Really. Cold. So I’ll be inside catching up on some reading….and maybe a few movies. Yay, Netflix! (On the To Be Watched pile….Leathernecks, My Best Friends Girl, and In Bruges. Yes, George Clooney and Colin Ferrell…..)
Hope you have a great weekend! Stay warm….curl up with a good book! Or George! Or both!

I liked Grey’s last night. I hope Tyne Daly comes back sometime.
The serial killer has been an interesting storyline. I turned away at the end when he started bashing his head. I have trouble watching the gory parts of the show!
I loved Izzy and Denny, and it has been nice to see Denny again, BUT this having sex with a dead guy is getting a little weird. I am not sure where they are going with this plot.
Yes, I had to run away - it was awful. Really strong. Guess in the end he didnt like his life and was doing the right thing. The week before he did tell us how he relished killing those women. So maybe I missed something along the way as I didnt devote myself to the entire hr.
turn away, not run away. LOL.
Congrats ladies!!!!
I’m glad to hear Scamp (love the name) is doing better. Not only was Lily’s father bold he was an acrobat, lol.
