No surprises here, move along…

Okay, so I might have sent home, say, Megan and Sarver first, the former because…do I really have to spell it out? And the latter because while I think he’s a sweet guy and sings well…his voice is just okay. His songs are just okay. He’s not a memorable singer, nor will I ever want to run out and buy his album. Jorge, on the other hand, I really did enjoy listening to. But, in the end, he and Jasmine were doomed anyway. So, it’s interesting that the first two out were two wildcards. Anoop, look out!

As for the twist…which is that the judges have one Get Out Of Going Home Free card to use one time, and one time only, this season, wherein they can save the singer with the lowest votes if they feel they should be given another shot. No worries there…except it’s kind of amusing that the show is telling you that this is to keep things like Daughtry and Tamyra from being booted off too early, only they were both in fourth place….and the judges can only use the Save Card up to the final five. So…so much for that idea. Anyhow, it will be interesting to see if they use it at all.

Group sing last night wasn’t all that, except it was nice to see them work around the Scott issue very seamlessly, so props for that. Kanye….seriously, dude, not wonderful. I fast forwarded. Nice, however, to see Kelly again.

Looking forward to tonight’s Survivor!

Don’t forget to enter this weeks Free Blog Candy giveaway. Details in Monday’s post. I will announce the winner right here in this space tomorrow. And…also don’t forget that you have to check in to see if you win! This is the only place you’re going to find out. There are some unclaimed prizes (Fedora…are you listening? Check last Friday’s blog for details!!)

Good luck to all!!

  1. I have to agree with you once again. I don’t see the judges using the Free Pass any time soon.

Survivor looks good tonight from what I’ve seen on the commercials. Someone loses a tooth!

  2. I think Jasmin should have stayed (for now) and Anoop should have gone. He should be the next to go.
