Great night. Argentine Tango is quickly becoming my fave dance. Both Cheryl/Gilles and tonight Tony/Melissa really smoked - as in smokin hot -their routines. Great opener, Tony/Mel! (And good music this time!) I know some will argue that Cheryl/Gilles AT was better, but while it was sexier, for sure, Tony choreo’d the daylights out of their AT and it was the celeb doing all the really hard parts, so I do agree with Carrie Ann…but more is better with the tango, so it’s all good for me! And, yes, after all…it is all about me.

Everyone dances a style they haven’t done yet. And they all dance a 60’s themed group dance. So much better than last week and everyone did well within their own skill set. Also, this was the week thes stars designed the costumes and, for the most part, good job! I thought it was one of the more enjoyable shows thus far.

Lawrence has definitely dropped some size. They got the waltz and uggggh song. But a nice job.(And yes, she’s never worn so much clothing! LOL) Not the best of the night and I’m pretty sure LT is the next one to leave, but I love how hard he tries. He could be proud that his mama was watching that dance.

Derek and Kim got the rumba. And, I don’t know…I mean, I know they’re not my fave despite being technically wonderful, and maybe it was Kim’s dress, which was a lovely pink cloud, but when she moved in it, you really didn’t see her body moves as much. And, otherwise, it was like they were trying too hard not to be too sexy, then would be sexy, then not again…just didn’t flow evenly. But still a good job technically.

Ooooh, very cool must watch results show tommorrow! They are having a pro contest where we get to vote for who the next new pro will be, who is added to the cast. Woo hoo! Artem better be in the mix, babees, that’s all I’m sayin!

Chuck and Julianne got the samba, and dang, y’all. Whew! That was easily and by far their best dance. Chuck was totally going for it and they really, really poured it on. That was the first time I can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed the two of them and really saw the chemistry working. Super job. Not to mention hottttt.

Chelsie and adorable Ty get the waltz. He is such a trouper with the best attitude on the planet, humble, hard working, and with a very wicked, dry sense of humor. And how great is he with his wife? What is not to love about this guy? I don’t even care that he’s not the best out there, I just enjoy watching him try his hardest. It was better than the past two weeks, but in the remaining group, a bottom 2 dance, along with LT. But he’s numero uno in my heart. I hope he sticks around at least one more week.

And apparently Stoner Music Dude took the week off. Good tunes this week that actually matched the dances!

Shawn and Mark get the cha cha cha. (I’m really enjoying them all doing different things - I think that has a lot to do with why this is so much more entertaining as well.) And they should let Shawn design her outfits more often. This was the first one that was really flirty and kinda sexy on her frame. Cute dance, although Mark could have toned it down a hair with the mugging, Shawn looked like she was having a total blast. That was a lot of fun.

And, oooh yeah, we get Cheryl and Gilles in the pimp spot. As it should be. They have the Viennese Waltz, so this should be interesting. (And Gilles in the pool? More of that, please!) That was Disney princess beautiful with a bit of a hot edge. Wonderful!

Group 60’s Dance - love the rehearsal footage. The dance was a lot of fun and Christian’s choreo let it be fun without really any awkwardness. It wasn’t the kind of dance that will change my opinion or vote about anyone, but I thoroughly enjoyed that.

Overall, I liked Tony/Melissa the best tonight. But Chuck/Julianne were also entertaining, as was Shawn. Everyone’s performance was fun. Best night of the season so far for me.

I think LT will go tomorrow, and possibly Ty will join him in the bottom 2, but it’s really, really hard to call. What some of them lack in skill they make up for with charisma and charm, so…it will be tough from here on out!
