SHaQ Attack Monday!

But first! I have a fun announcement to make. Tomorrow I will be guest blogging on fellow Brava author, Lucy Monroe’s site. This week is when many of my writing compatriots head down to Atlanta for our national conference. Alas, some of us won’t be traveling this summer, myself included, so Lucy came up with the great idea of having her own little block party all this week. Stop by for some fun and maybe win free stuff! Click Blog Party! for all the details.

Hmmm….okay, we need a new theme for this week’s SHaQ Attack book giveaway. Tiger won the British Open in spectacular fashion yesterday, taking his third claret cup and his 11th overall major. It’s a damn shame I don’t have a book that has anything to do with golf. Would have been soooo easy. :)

But no.

So! Since he had a “Cinderella Run” I’m going to go with a Glass Slipper series question this week. (I know, it was a stretch, but go with me on this…)

Here we go: Who was the real Dear Prince Charming?

Send your answer to donna@donnakauffman.com with I’m no princess in the subject line.

One Blog Babe will be chosen from the correct entries and announced on Friday. He or she (hey, a babe’s a babe, we don’t discriminate here) will win a signed copy of the book in question AND one of their choice from my website bookshelf.

The answer is on my website. I swear. If it takes more than two minutes, you’re not doing it right. (The contest people, I’m talking about the contest.)

So, other than winning free stuff, what are we looking forward to this week? For me, it’s a little dancing, a little fashion design, a little reading (still working on Angel’s Fall - deadline hell is killin’ my reading time) a little guest blog partying, some tennis…and, of course, ice cream will be involved at some point. Okay, maybe at a lot of points. It’s hot out. Give me a break.

What are you looking forward to this week?

Have a great Monday. Stay cool. Read something hot. :)

  1. Hi, I am off this week and will be out most of Monday and Tues so will have to wait to seek out answer. Have a feeling it will be not so easy even tho you said it would be.

Thanks for cluing us in on the blog contest this week. However, I must say I hate blog spot - always have a problem. No matter what I register with, it tells me name not available. Anyone else have a problem? I have had this problem in the past trying to register for several contests.

Have a great day all going to conference.

  2. I’m looking forward to some cooler temperatures! It’s been soooo hot!

I had that problem with blog spot for a while but I finally found something that worked. Good Luck with that Pat.

  3. So far, you’re all going like gangbusters with the SHaQ Attack, but since several of you asked, for clarity, I did go in and edit the question to read:

Who was the real Dear Prince Charming.

    Hope that helps!!

And sorry about the blogspot issues Pat. I’ve never used it before, but so far it’s given me no problems when visiting Lucy’s site so I’m not sure what advice to offer.

  4. If it takes more than two minutes, you’re not doing it right. (The contest people, I’m talking about the contest.)

I’m so glad you clarified that. LOL

I’ve never had a problem with blogspot - well, except today when THEY are having the problem. You just have to keep plugging until you find a name that isn’t taken. A combination of your first name/last name, initials - anything that isn’t being used by someone else.

Will try to visit you at Lucy’s site.

I’m skipping this week - I’m looking forward to November or somewhere thereabouts

But I’m back from my week from blogland!

  5. same here cool tempt, but i don’t think so. blogging with friends here.

  6. I think I figured it out. Was able to change my password by typing in blogspot and fooling around with it. But I am trying to post on various authors sites for the contest and so far only yours is working. Will go on to try others.

    Pat

  7. Oh, I just finished reading Not So Snow White and enjoyed it very much. I always enjoyed watching tennis (I’m a hopeless case when it comes to sports)so I thought it was an interesting main theme! I’m going to start reading Aussie Rules now - both books I received in your contests :)

I was cheering for Tiger - he had me in tears at the end.
