I want my MAC back!
So, it’s Tuesday and there’s nothing fun to MAC. I’m having MACdrawals.
Andy Roddick did beat the snot out of that upstart, Benjamin Becker, so we all feel a little avenged. And Amelie beat Serena, so all is right in my world there…. And yet, we’re missing something. I know there’s some singing left on Rock Star and designing left on Project Runway, and pro football starts on Thursday, but is it me, or does this seem a little like purgatory at the moment?
I know, I know, so whiny today. 
One thing I did want to note - I forgot to mention in yesterday’s SHaQ question that you can post here, OR you can email me at donna@donnakauffman.com, either will get your favorite hero entered in this week’s contest. So far, lots of entries, but, surprisingly, everyone is picking a different hero! It will be really interesting to see how this all plays out. Keep your choices coming - but just one hero per Blog Babe, please!
For all those with kids heading back to school today (like moi) happy freedom! I say we all unite and curl up with a book somewhere. I’m avidly awaiting the arrival in a week or so of Nora’s latest, Morrigan’s Cross. What about you? What are you reading?
I just started Candace Hern’s IN THE THRILL OF THE NIGHT,it is the first in a trilogy about widows out to have fun w/out the marital strings attached.So far it’s really cute and humorous.
Over the weekend I finished Deep Breath by Alison Kent, which was very good. I’m now reading I’m Watching You by Karen Rose.
No it’s not just you! The Closer and Saved wrapped up last but on the bright side Nip/Tuck starts tonight!
I’m reading THE NO 1 LADIES’ DETECTIVE AGENCY by Alexander McCall Smith. It is sooo good! There’s something about it that sucks you in and won’t let you stop reading. I love books like this!

I just finished Jill Shalvis’s “Just Try Me” and Leslie Kelly’s “Here Comes Trouble” and have just started “Forbidden Pleasures” by Bertrice Small with “The Domino Effect” by Julie Elizabeth Leto waiting in the wings. No kids of my own however, I did take pictures of my nieces this am as they left. Mom and kids had smiles on their faces!

I just started reading “Footloose” by Leanne Banks and I picked up Nora’s “Morrigan’s Cross” this weekend at WalMart. I will start that as soon as I finish “Footloose”.
I’m read Prince Joe by Suzanne Brockmann. I want to get a copy of Morrigan’s Cross. I enjoy Nora’s books.
