A little Friday MAC and some SHaQ Attack!

Okay, first, on Survivor nothing much happens. Not really. It was all spelled out in last week’s previews. Ozzy talks his crew into throwing the challenge so they can send Metal Head Billy home. Billy shows some late game by trying to swing votes back his way - and shockingly almost succeeds — but in the end, he’s out. But not before proclaiming that he found the love of his life on the show - Candice from one of the other tribes. Tribes people he’s only seen during two challenges. Ever. What’s up with that? Probst was clearly stunned, as were his fellow teammates. And no, he didn’t say he just had a crush, or that he thought she was cute and planned to hook up with her later….he actually claimed it was love at first sight and that they’d both gone so far as to proclaim their love to each other during the earlier challenge.

What has Billy been smoking?

So I think we just found out about the “strangest love affair ever” that Probst alluded to in a pre-season interview. Because, Billy? He’s delusional. Can’t wait to see what Probst does with that information at a later tribal council.

In other news, Cao Boi gives another red mark and continues to majorly annoy his tribe off with off color, racially insensitive jokes. Yul forms an alliance with fellow Korean, Becky, then is sent packing to Exile Island where he quickly uses his massive Ivy League brain to figure out the clue and unearth the Immunity Idol. EC (Eye Candy) Adam shows how clueless he is about this game when he seriously pisses off Jonathan (and me) by refusing to do any work on the shelter, and Hiki finally gets fire and is waaaaay excited about it. But not as excited as they are when they win immunity by coming in third out of four (where the fourth team is seriously throwing the competition.) But hey, immunity is immunity.

Next week? A lot more of the same old thing. I can’t wait. :)

This week’s SHaQ Attack winner is Barbara-Jo woo hoo!! She correctly answered the question: Who does Jinty belong to? Jinty was Tristan Chisholm’s dog in Bad Boys in Kilts.

Tune in Monday for the newest contest. I promise to go easy on ya!

Have a great weekend everyone!!

  1. Congratulations Barbara-Jo!

I think it is a little early in the game to throw an immunity challenge!

Yul reminds me of a younger version Terry, who I still think should have won last year. Ugh!

I think the only reason Adam is there is for Eye Candy. LOL

Do you think I could get Cao Boi to come and take care of my sinus headaches even though I don’t have a million dollars to offer as a incentive? :)

Can’t wait for next weeks show!

  2. Hey Barbara-Jo congrats!!! Way to go, girl!

I found Survivor kind of boring. I always like it better after the merge when you have less people and you get to know each one better. There is still too many people that I can’t keep them straight.

  3. Congrats to Barbara-Jo.

Since I don’t watch Suvivor (never have, probably never will) I can’t comment on the show. Last night I was watching Celebrity Duets. It’s my little guilty pleasure.

  4. Congrats Barbara-Jo!

  5. Did anyone watch Six Degrees last night? Was it any good? I taped it, along with Grey’s Anatomy because my coworkers have finally forced me to watch the dang thing. For the millionth time I’ve heard that they can’t believe I write what I write and don’t love that show. So…one of my coworkers gave me the first two seasons on DVD so I can catch up. Sigh. I’m so screwed now. All I need is another Must See show!

But I thought Six Degrees looked pretty provocative. Maybe it was just the great commercials. But I’m kinda hoping its good - for when Men in Trees is cancelled after making me watch it and love it. (Altho it did well I heard, ratings wise, even if the critics - who have no respect for romantic comedy anyway - trashed it.) Dare I hold out hope?

  6. Congrats, Barbaa Jo - Those BB in Kilts were sure hot.

  7. Wow! I’m thrilled - thanks for all the good wishes!
I’ll email you Donna. Thanks for the Survivor update - I actually missed it.

  8. Congrats Barbara JO.

I thought it was a bit early to threw a challenge. You don’t know what is coming down the pike.

I would love to have that guy work on my sinuses too.

I agree I like it better when its less people. Its hard to keep up

Ps. Donna in my Us Magazine it has that Mario (the Jerk) is dating his partner. Wonder if its true.

  9. Congrats Barbara Jo.

I think that was the boringest[word?]second episodes ever of Survivior. The only highlight was Coiboi making another red mark on a fellow castmate, lol.I think his fellow castmates need to lighten up a little.Ozzy’s team shouldn’t have thrown the challenge, but I can see why especially after he weirded out.First impressions are so important and more than ever in Survivior you better have a good or be gone.I didn’t care for Adam either this episode.

I am not on the Grey’s Anatomy bandwagon either,I watched a few of the reruns this summer and thought it was ok but I’m not adding it to my watchlist because it is in it’s third season and I have so many other shows to watch.

  10. Donna, I agree with you on the Survivor comments. I’m glad he went - such a lazy @ss. It’s my only reality show that I allow myself so I’m enjoying it.
I have Grey’s on tape too so have to catch up on that one.

    Congrats Barbara jo.
