Snow-torious B-I-G!
So, yeah…we’ve had a little snow here. A few flakes. That somehow managed to add up to 32″ !!! Also? This just in: if I never see another snow shovel, I will be a very happy girl. See photo below? I wasn’t even close to hitting bottom, and that railing behind me? Yeah, that’s usually about waist high. Unfortunately, Mother Nature did not take kindly to my little suggestion of rehab in last week’s blog and is going to continue showing me her complete lack of a sense of humor by bringing more snow tomorrow.
Yes, Snowpocaplypse 2010 is all my fault.
In the meantime, there was the Super Bowl and a very exciting Saints win!I love Peyton and was rooting for him, but it was certainly impossible not to be excited for the city of New Orleans and how thrilled they were with their first trip and first big SB win. Good game all around, with lots of good stories.
But, more importantly? The commercials, of course! Which were your favorites? I will always love e*Trade baby commercials and they didn’t disappoint. I thought Dorito’s had the best overall campaign. Loved!!! the Betty White spot. And I think most innovative and clever had to go to the Google spot. Easily in my Top Three. What about you? Which ones made you smile or laugh?

They are also calling for yet more snow coming this weekend. On top of tomorrow’s storm. Seriously, never EVER write an open letter to Mother Nature. SO not a good idea.
And what is going to happen on The Bachelor tonight? Our Rose Counter Chris has tweeted that it is once again the most dramatic, touching week ever. And he hasn’t lied to us yet this season. But, seriously? NOW what?? Tune in tomorrow for all the Bachelor MAC. But right now? Super Bowl Commercial DISH!
OK - Im inclined to agree. Perhaps the letter to Mother Nature was not such a good thing. Some people are just so sensitive. Your letter may have been the catalyst to make her shake her snowy tail feather at you and we are all paying! Perhaps, another equally funny but apologetic letter is in order. Just sayin.
Cant wait for the Bachelor! Could this be the night Vienna goes home? My fingers and toes are crossed!
Yeah let’s hold off on the next letter to mother nature because we actually broke our snow shovel this weekend, the ice at the bottom of the snow is not forgiving… I’m hearing at least 4in tomorrow maybe 8…
No matter what team you were rooting for it was a great game but since I was rooting for the saints its that much better
I loved the commercials but I need to go back and see all of them today because even though my college is closed for a snow day we still had homework due on superbowl Sunday… although I don’t know what the people without power did since everything is online.

I enjoyed the Betty White Snickers commercial the best. Others I laughed at were the Career Builders Casual Fridays and FloTv’s Spineless Man. The Google French Love Story was cute and really clever.
