I was speaking at a book club meeting last night (best group ever!) and so only got as far as finding out who got booted from Idol. And that was…interesting.

On the girls side...Janell goes home and Katie’s look of terror changes to one of happy relief. Then ARod gets the bad news and looks like she wants to cut a bitch. Yikes, Ash, you might work on that whole gracious loser thing. She had such a diva attitude, I wasn’t upset that she got the axe despite there being worse singers left in the bunch.

Then it was the guys turn…Tim Urban looked beyond stunned (join the crowd, Tim!) when he was told to sit down, while Joe Munoz of the actual decent singing voice had to make his final walk to the stage. So, clearly we’re not judging on talent already. And then poor Alex Lambert looked like he was going to stroke out while standing next to Tyler “I’m channeling Jim Morrison!”…and, just as with ARod, my dreams came true and they send Tyler home. And, like Ashleigh, he could also take a few lessons in gracious exits as well. (Whining about not getting enough feedback? Really Tyler?)

So, not the most predictable exits, but none of them made me unhappy. Four more go home next week! What did you think of the evictees? Are your faves safe? Who should go next??
