Amazing Race MAC and More Free Stuff!
So, Amazing Race last night had a pretty intense detour, but overall, just proved that I don’t really find myself caring about most of the teams. Team Cops aren’t my favorites, though they do seem to work well as a team, (although, show, I beg you, please, we never, not ever, need to see them in their jockeys again.) Brandy, on the other hand, was wow on the scale of bitch. Jeff/Jordan should have just been mercy killed at some point, well, the Jordan half, though I’m sure Jeff was close to begging for it many times for himself.
Just Jordan totally cracked me up with how much he enjoyed the trench crawl. Dad/Daughter did really well, and I liked them. My respect actually grew for Heidi/Joe after early leg not-so-muchness, and Team Miss USA was so, like, you know, doin’ it. Totally. They may not come across as the sharpest tools in the shed, but they also do seem to be enjoying the race and each other’s company, and they do get props for that.
What we needed was more Team Cowboy. The only team who is truly enjoyable to watch and there wasn’t much screen love for them this week. At the end of the day, it was a shame to see Joe/Heidi go after what had to be the most frustrating task since the hay bales. Heidi is right in that they aren’t stupid, so it was hard to watch them not get it. Over, and over, and over. It doesn’t seem like it should have been that hard. That was a long sequence to have to translate. But they never lost their cool, and for that? Major props. And, because of that, Team Jeff/Jordan are still in it.
So, this leaves me to root for…Team Cowboy and Team Dad/Daughter (has any team done so well with almost zero screen time? What’s up with that? They’re nice. Let us like them more.) Not minding Team Dan & Just Jordan, either. And Team USA hung in there despite their set back.

Team Cowboy rubs me the wrong way, I think they gloat too much. At first greeting I thought that I would like them but I don’t. Team Dad/Daughter are my favs, go D/D!
I’m rootin’ for Team Cowboy, ’cause…well…yehaw!! I like them best!
