Dancing with 7’s….

So, on DWTS, Len really needs to find his Happy Place so I can find mine. Clearly he wasn’t there last night. And neither was I. And though I understand grading on a curve based on what the ability of the performer could be vs what they did, to give Evan the same score as Jake seemed a little…you know…wrong.

I think they all did a fair job with the dances. I enjoyed some more than others. I thought Chad and Pam both stepped it up comparative to their previous dances and did very well. I wasn’t all that about Evan or Nicole, scores notwithstanding, but they don’t tend to move me, despite both of them being exceedingly talented and very hard working. I respect them both, but I’m not on the edge of my seat to see what they do. Very much enjoyed Maks and Erin, I think Niecy and Louis have a lot of fun. I’m not feeling Jake at all, but agree he has improved. The swing marathon, while fun and interesting in premise didn’t really seem to follow through in terms of who went out when, but whatever.

I’ve given up, I think, with this season in terms of making sense of it. Instead I will watch the pretty people wear sexy, sparkly things and dance a challenging dance. Who goes, who stays, I am ceasing to care. And I think I can pretty much just start fast forwarding through the judges comments all together.

Maks writes a blog each week for TV Guide and I enjoy what he has to say. He talks about the judging in his most recent blog (can’t wait to see what he writes this week!). Here’s the link. I agree with him. Maks Blog

What say you, Blog Babes? Caring, not caring? Who should go tonight? For me it would be Jake or Pam and I’m pretty sure, given the bottom two placement twice now, it will be Pam. What do you think?

Don’t forget to enter this week’s contest! Details in yesterday’s blog. Winner announced in Friday’s blog. Good luck! And now? DISH!!

  1. I’m having a blast watching Ms. Nash. I think she’s finally found her niche. The technicalities of the Tango combined with humor? Click. I want the see her challenge Erin, Jake, Chad and Pam. Evan? Eh. Looks pretty, but can’t wiggle. Kind of like a sculpture or a photograph.

  2. I loved chad last night. He really rocked it. Jake doesn’t do anything for me either. Evan was nice to look at but it was too ballet for me.

    I think Jake’s # is up
