How did it get to be the middle of June already? Well, the good news this morning, just outside the Nation’s Capital in the lovely Virginia countryside where I reside, is that the humidity finally broke and it was glorious jogging along the Potomac River this morning. I hope this weather lingers for awhile. I could get used to this!

Besides, with all the cupcakes I’ve been baking (and testing, and sampling, and testing some more…) I need to keep jogging every morning!

And, speaking of cupcakes (because, I’m always speaking of cupcakes) this week marks the deadline of the Original Cupcake Recipe contest. You have until midnight, EST, this Wednesday, June 15, to get me your recipe! I will be choosing three semi-finalists this Friday, and sending samples on to Amazon the beginning of next week for the final judging round. The winner gets his/her cupcake recipe published in my upcoming Cupcake Club Romance, SWEET STUFF!! I know, how cool is that?? The winner, and the remaining semi-finalists, will all also win a signed, advance copy of the book. The excitement, it just never ends around here!
