Sweet 16

Well, today my youngest turns 16. How did that happen? He’s a great guy and a good man, which is the most any parent can hope for, but it seems like only yesterday I was explaining to him that no, you can’t get a degree in football, then set up a job interview with the NFL, it doesn’t work that way. Ten years later, he still thinks his way would work better. Then again, he might have a point. :) Thanks for making me see the world in a new, if slightly skewed way, and for making me laugh every single day. It’s a gift I wish more of us shared. There is never a dull moment with you, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Happy Birthday, Spence!

  2. Happy Birthday, Spence! They do grow so fast! Mine son and daughter are both married and I’m the grandmother of six! I still can’t believe how fast the years have gone by! Oh, and I think your son’s idea about getting a football degree is a good one! Isn’t that pretty much what they do now! lol

  4. Happy Birthday, Spence. You have made your Mom proud.
