First, the MAC…

Well, James is safe. Boy, he’s so safe, he’s untouchable. That’s it for the good news. In the bad news department, Todd finds the immunity idol and comes up with a great plan to keep James safe and get the numbers on their side, but it all falls apart faster than you can say balut, when his team can’t eat really, truly gross stuff faster than than Zhan Hu. Who finally figured out that maybe, just maybe, their whole attempt to keep their numbers up wasn’t going to matter if Sherea and Frosti jumped ship. Also cool? James sacrificing the plan to save Denise when it was clear that she wasn’t going to get that bird fetus down (yes, you read that right) knowing it screwed the plan, just so she wouldn’t have to. Awwww, James. That’s love! Makes you strong! (Funniest moment of the night - when he smacks Todd on the shoulder, all pals, and all but dislocates the poor guy’s arm.)

And the bad news continues when, despite Courtney’s pleas to please get rid of the grossest Survivor ever (which is saying something right there) they opt to keep original tribe members over new ones and kick Sherea out. Now, I want Jim Bob gone as much as Courtney does (that whole tub sequence? True squick right there.) But after Sherea’s little convo in Tribal? Yeah, I’d have kicked her to the curb then, too. Dang, Sherea. Combative much?

Next week it looks like the other idol is found and buffs are being dropped as we have a merge. I’m all for something happening to keep things interesting.
