Thanks to all the great comments on the excerpt and my fun little car. I am having SUCH a blast in that thing, bringing joy to many. Love the smiles and waves I get for the Kitty Cooper.

So…last night was the final Thursday edition of Survivor (the finale is this Sunday) and, apparently, the final night for my TiFaux to work. It’s been struggling and, I guess today is the day I call my satellite folks and give it a proper burial. Poor me will probably have to suffer with the new, improved, bigger hard drive model. I know, it’s rough, but someone has to do it.

I did, however, manage to piece together what I missed. So…we have 5 Survivors left: Todd, Amanda, Courtney (who’d a thunk it?), Denise and PG. Guess who has the target on their back? Reward means shooting arrows and, it seems, Todd is wicked good at this sport, but it’s Courtney who either deliberately makes Todd and Denise sweat by hitting their names over and over. And over. Or she’s just that random. Hard to call. But, in the end, Denise wins reward and, much to PG’s really unhappy disgust, takes Courtney and Todd. And, I get why PG isn’t happy, but for Denise it was strategy, and, if the situations were reversed, even PG has to know she’d have done the same exact thing. So….deal with it.

Amanda and PG bond while the folks take off for a great supper on the Great Wall, but, in the end, after Amanda wins immunity, PG can’t rally the troops to overthrow Todd…and to no one’s surprise, PG goes home, leaving Todd, Amanda, Courtney and Denise as the final, if surprising, four. (Who’d have picked this crew to go the distance, you know?)

And, uh, Denise? Now’s the time to wish you’d taken Todd out while you could. Just sayin. Hope you like 4th place. If you were ever going to win immunity (and you’ve won two rewards now) now’s the time.

I have no real pick to win. Actually, just for perversity’s sake, I think it’d be freaking hilarious if Courtney did, just because. But if I had to give one million dollars to someone, in terms of it being used for the well and good of family and friends, it would be Denise, hands down.

Project Runway MAC will have to wait until Monday as I still don’t have a viewable episode!

I hope everyone is getting their holiday shopping done (I know, stop laughing!) Just a note to book winners of the past few weeks - I have tried, on several occasions, to send out winning books, but the lines at my post office are daunting, and I haven’t yet braved the hoard. But they’re all packed up and ready to go as soon as I hit the place at a time that will have me in and out in less than an hour. Where’s Santa’s sleigh when you need it?
