Such a giver…
Hope everyone had a great weekend! Thanks for all the compliments on the back cover copy. I think they did a really nice job of representing it well. Now we just have to wait and see what they come up with for the cover. I keep waiting for my phone call telling me it’s time to go to the photo shoot, but it’s hasn’t happened. What’s up with that?
We have a special SHaQ Attack contest this week, but first, it’s time for a wee bit o’ MAC.
So….on The Big Give, I think they definitely got it right this week. It was a shame to see Sheg go, especially after having to deal with that poor woman who just lost her daughter. (And am I the only one who wishes that director’s name was on air? Shame on him! I only hope that his small town makes him wish he was anywhere else but in it. Too busy because he had to eat his dinner? Seriously?) But Sheg did fall down on the job with the family with 28 kids (yes, you read that right, twenty-eight kids, and special needs kids to boot!) I thought it was great that he got in and helped them personally with the garage, but allll those kids and all he could think was to give them a chinese food party? I thought it was all just really odd.
I thought Brandi came through, as she tends to do, and the guys did well, as always. Rae….yeah. For once I agree with Jaime. Cocky, that one. She is way too full of herself when she hands out that money. She does good deeds, but I could do without her diva-Whitney-esque airs. I hope she goes next and the final three are Brandi & The Boys. I like Baby Face guy, but I want Curly to win. I just think he’s done the best job overall, week in and week out. Not sure I want to see Brandi winning the million. And I definitely don’t want Rae to have it. But either of the guys could take home the prize and I’d be happy.
So….now on to how to win a book! For this week’s SHaQ Attack, I have an advance reading copy of the final book in the Men of Trinity, Inc series, Finn’s story, The Black Sheep & The English Rose. (Yay, they’re finally here!) To be in the running, ya gotta tell me who goes home on Survivor. I know! But you just have to pick…Fan? Or Favorite? I know the tribes are all mixed up now, but the tribal council’s have been anything but expected, so….you never know! Just send me an email to donna@donnakauffman.com with “Exile…for good!” in the subject line, and Fan or Favorite in the body of the email. Entries must be in by 8pm EST on Thursday, winner announced Friday.
So…while we’re discussing who goes home…who do you think goes this week on Dancing and Idol? Guy…or girl?
Aaaaaaand, dish!
