Yay, new week! And you know what that means?

More dancing, more singing, more surviving! Some of it even on television!

We’re coming down to the wire on all three of our MAC shows. Survivor Finale this Sunday, AI finale the week after, AND this very week we get a special 100th episode of Dancing With The Stars complete with the return of a bunch of our faves, including Apolo, Maks, and Mel B! Woo hoo!

Fun week. Which, considering I have a deadline next week, might well be a sanity-saver!

And, of course, we can’t be having all this fun and not have it trickle down to the weekly SHaQ Contest. Come on, you knew we were overdue! What?!? You don’t watch - well, it’s never too late to start! But guesses are always welcome. And sometimes winners! (I actually, on a whim, picked Denis of Cork for the Derby this year. No lie. 27 - 1 odds. And he shows. Amazing.) So if you don’t know, guess! I’m a big fan of winging it.

Okay, so the specific rules this week are: You get three tries to get your name in the prize drawing for Friday. By Tuesday night, 8pm EST, pick who goes home on Dancing - Jason, Kristi, Marissa, Mario, or Christian? (What? We’re at five or less. No more wimpy guy or girl picks!) By Wednesday night, 8pm EST, pick who goes home on Idol - Syesha, Cook, Castro, or Archie? By Thursday night, 8pm EST, pick who goes home on Survivor - Amanda, Cirie, Parvati, Natalie, or Erik?

Send emails to donna@donnakauffman.com with either Dancer/Idol/Survivor Go Home! in the subject line, depending on the show you’re voting for.

The more times you’re right, the more entries you get. If the winning blog babe happens to have gotten all three right? Well, double or nothing - you’ll win two books instead of one! Woot squared!

Good luck! Happy voting!

  1. Men in Trees has been canceled. :( The remaining episodes start airing May 28.

  2. Waaaah. When they moved Boston Legal to Wednesdays (which also worries me) I figured they were probably done. I wish they’d left the show alone long enough in the beginning to build a stronger audience, but they yanked it around and pulled it off and on right from the start. Such a shame!

I’m glad we’ll at least get to see the remaining shows, but I hate not having a series finale. (Las Vegas producers!)

  3. Oh, but there will be a series-finale episode! They shot it just in case.

  4. Well, at least we get that much. But I’m going to miss my wacky and hunky Elmo-ians. Boo, ABC. Boo.
