For those of you who have been Blog Babes for a while, you’ll remember I adopted my sister’s cockatiel, Miss Lemon, a while back. I have a black-capped Caique parrot, named Zazu, who was both intrigued and somewhat insulted by her intrusion into his flock…but as you can see by the picture below, they’ve made friends and quite enjoy each other’s company…so I thought I’d share.

Okay, about this SHaQ Attack Monday thing….you guys have to at least PRETEND it’s a challenge, k? I spend all weekend thinking of ways to be evil, then you guys just Bam! Answer it. If you’re wondering, everyone who has sent an answer so far has gotten it right. Honestly. You people.

Seriously, I’m glad you’re enjoying the challenge (lame though they apparently are…) But be warned! I have ALL WEEK to think up the next one now. Heh, heh, heh…

So…tonight is American Idol and we’re down to, what, six left? I’m still not all that excited about Love Song Night (because, chances are, it’s not Love Shack, but Love is a Many Splendored Thing they’ll be singing, you know?) And I have all the admiration in the world for Mr Bocelli’s talent. But, I’m admittedly not all that jazzed about our special guest this week, either. Nothing against him, I’m just not an opera fan, not even “pop” opera. Sorry!

But I will watch and give the American Idol Blow by Blow, Ryan by Paula by Simon by Randy Recap first thing tomorrow….because, well, because I’m faithful and dependable like that. I know. Group hug everyone!

Oh! And double group hug for all those “virtually” attending the book signing this weekend.
