And your favorite Dancer is……..

Dance MAC time….

Sniff! It’s over. The one show of the summer I really enjoyed. (And just where did the summer go, anyway? Poof!)

Cat introduces the top twenty dancers…great to see them all again. Nice to see a stage full of dancers again, too. It was getting pretty sparse out there!

Cat in a mini skirt showing off some seriously long legs strides out and introduces us to our judges - everyone is here tonight. We have Nigel, Crack Mary, My TV Boyfriend Brian, Shane Sparks, Mia, and Dan the Man.

Behind the scenes MAC from last week…then yay! New Shane Sparks routine featuring all 20 dancers. Woot!

Fun routine, very physical, African influenced, well done - and the camera guy must be on his meds because we actually got to see most of the routine.

Each of the final four gets to pick their favorite dance of the season to dance again. Benji goes first and has a hard time choosing, but ends up selecting. Surprisingly, he doesn’t pick a Donyelle routine, he decides he really wants to dance with his cousin, Heidi, one last time and chooses their Mambo routine.

The judges give them a standing O. Very, very sharp - I agree!

Next up is Heidi who chooses the contemporary routine she did with Travis. I totally agree with this choice. I really enjoyed this dance. The Mia choreography is really stunning. And they are just as wonderful this go around.

Judges all stand and Mia is teary eyed. I am, too.

Oooooh…..a little showmance is revealed between Natalie and (swooon, My) Dmitri so we are treated to them dancing together for the first time. In a sort of hip hop ballroom number to Magdalena, they do sizzle (tho I worry as Natalie still has her knee brace on.)

Next up, we get Ciara, singing Get Up, a song from the movie, Step Up. Opens with a group of dancers and some clever choreography…so maybe I won’t ff through this. Dancing is okay, but the lip syncing is so obvious, it sort of distracts.

Now we get to find out what Donyelle picked as her favorite dance. She chooses the Broadway routine she did with Benji. (Surprising, as this isn’t close to one of the top dances I thought she performed. Hmmm.) They get the judges up, but I think it’s just because they feel they have to after doing standing O’s for the first two. Its a fun routine, but not compelling really.

We get a reprise of Mia’s contemporary routine for Ivan and Alison which is one of my all time favorites of the season. I’m really glad we get to see this again. Alison is truly such an amazing dancer, so perfectly in control of every single movement, she makes this look so easy. So impressive, and these two are simply joyful together. Loved it.

Next is the top twenty dancing to that excellently fun Roisin Murphy routine by Wade Robson expanded to fit in all 20 of them. This will be fun. (Have I mentioned how hot Dmitry is? I have? K.) Then we say goodbye to the bottom 10 of the final 20 - the top 10 will be coming to a city near you soon for their tour.

Now it’s time for a retrospective of the journey each of our top 4 has taken to get this far. First up is Heidi after which, we get one last solo from her. Which is to Joan Jett - cool! Then Cat is a buzz kill and comes out and tells her she didn’t win the contest. She is classy in her farewell.

We get Travis’s favorite routine next. He chooses the paso doble he danced with Heidi because this is the dance where he finally conquered ballroom. Should be fun. (Heidi is sure getting work out tonight!) I love the opening pose of this (and the mambo one she did with Benji, too - she’s such a dream partner to have.)

Next up is Donyelle’s journey (which I assume means the expected final two showdown between Benji and Travis is going to happen.) Her solo is a nice finale for her. Her goodbye is very elegant and moving.

Another judge’s highlight is next, this one from my favorite wicked leprechaun, Brian. He chooses a Tyce dance, Steam Heat with Martha and Travis. They’re a lot of fun - nice to see them together again.

It’s a whole lotta dancing tonight!!

Now we get to see Benji’s journey. (Do I think this means he’s out and Travis wins? Nah.)

I’ll go out on a limb now and say that, honestly, on skill, this belongs to Travis. But I think Benji got the popular vote. I love them both, but I think Travis is also better suited to the prize as well. We’ll see! I’m happy either way. Both were irreplacable on the show and brought enormous pleasure and entertainment.

Benji’s solo is really different, very alt rock. Fun. I really liked it - wish it went on longer. We get the expected tease from Cat…. and now it’s on to Travis’s journey.

Nice journey clip package, nice solo. Very strong, entertaining.

Cat teases again. And we know there’s more filler before we find out. And, of course, I’m right.

Fergie is up singing London Bridge. I like her better with her Black Eyed Peas. But she sings at least.

And of course we get the horror parade of filler. Thanks, Nigel. Except, not really. But the highlight reel part was great.

One last time for the top 10 dancers - and dear lord, they give them the Tyce Broadway routine to Chicago. Kill me now! But I watch, because I love.

We get another judge’s favorite, this time from Dan the Man who chooses the nerd routine between Travis and Benji and come on, who doesn’t want to see this again? Shane? Smoochies for this one, baby! I loved this routine the most.

The judges give them both props, one after the other….and now…drum roll……..

I am right….Benji wins it all!!!

What a fun season….I hope they come back next summer. This was the Show That Saved Summer Television for me.

I’ve enjoyed recapping this one each week….I feel like I’ve watched every show with friends. Thanks for going along on the ride with me!

::curtsy:: :)

A little MAC…

Very little….

Treasure Hunters….It was a good final episode. Well, almost final episode. I knew there was a live finale, so I kept wondering how this leg was going to end when they all thought one team would find the treasure by that night. I still feel like this could have been a great series, but it needs major tweaking. This episode had a lot of great clues and sleuthing by all teams, but it still doesn’t hold my attention in that edge of your seat way that Amazing Race does. Go figure.

So..all three teams race for the gold. It looks like the Southie Boys are way out of it after their trip to the Library of Congress (which was fine by me) but by the time they reach the Inner Harbor of Baltimore (hey, they’re in my neck of the woods for this whole leg!) all three teams catch up to one another. The Air Force had the lead going out of DC, but stopping for directions and playing around on the stupid computer cost them valuable time. The Geniuses have the lead going into Ft Mc Henry and keep the lead as the episode comes closer to an end. They all end up at the Key Industries building, the tension tries to mount and fails….and we get To Be Continued.

I know. It’s like Chinese Water Torture with this show.

Thank god we have the big Dance finale tonight. Yay!

Happy Hump Day everyone! :)

It’s a dog’s life!

Well, my youngest sister isn’t the only one with a new baby…my other sister also became a new puppy mommy recently. (Her husband actually came home with her one day…) So I give equal puppy time to both new additions, please say hello to Chloe the Great Dane (and her humongous feet.)

Also, as my nephew is enjoying basking in his moment of blog glory by sharing such with all his friends, I thought it only fair to offer the same to my niece (proud buddy to Chloe) who recently came home with a fistful of ribbons from her latest competition…

There. Now I think I’ve covered all my bases and family peace one again rules the land. :)

Treasure Hunter MAC tomorrow!

One happy puppy…

I thought you all would enjoy seeing Piper the Puppy in her new home, with the new master of her universe, my 7 yr old nephew. A very happy family ~ thank you all for being part of the excitement.

On to this week’s SHaQ Attack question. It’s going to be a challenging one this week. (Oh come on, it’s been awhile!) Seeing as this week is Special K’s Big Move to his new fishie condo, I thought I’d keep the fishie theme going. So here it is…

Which one of my books featured Fred, the upside down swimming fish?

Fred was actually based on a real life fish, appropriately named Fish, whose owner is one of my long time readers, Nadine, who is mentioned in the dedication. I have no idea where you’ll find the answer to this one, but I can tell you Fred is mentioned on the first page of the book in question. (If no one sends the right answer by Wednesday…I’ll post a mercy question. :) )

Send your guesses to donna@donnakauffman.com with Here, Fishy Fishy in the subject line. I will draw a name from the correct entries this Friday and the winning Blog Babe will get the book of his/her choice from my website bookshelf.

Tomorrow we’ll have more of the Adventures of Special K and his Biggie Move.

Happy Monday, everyone!

PS - Bonus Clue! (We already have correct guesses….you guys are good!) But here’s a little guidance for the rest of you. The book in question is still in print. That’ll narrow it down a little anyway. :)

Little Bit O’ MAC…

So…PR3 was more fun this week, less angst.

Things got turned upside down. The models chose the designers this time and chose a fashion icon for each to model an outfit for. Most of the models chose really well. My faves - Laura’s Kate Hepburn (loved it), Michael’s Pam Grier, Kayne’s Marilyn Monroe, Angela’s Audrey (loved it). Uli’s and Cute Alison’s were okay, but didn’t wow me. Not keen on Tattooine Jeff’s at all. But my bottom three were the same as the judges. Vincent, Bradley, and Robert. Vincent is once again safe. And I hate to agree, but while his was whack, it was not the worst. Leaving Robert and his boring outfit (again, wake up Robert!) and Space Cadet Bradley. Robert is In, and Bradley was Out. Agree on that aufing as well. I hope Robert steps it up, so Vincent can finally be the worst and go home. Kayne, Michael, and Angela are top three. I was torn between (believe it or not) Angela and M. In the end, Michael win’s - and a good prize it is! A fashion ad in Elle with his model (who was great.)

Upcoming….Tim tells us that for the next three challenges, things get more grueling. Should be interesting!

SHaQ Attack Winner!

The answer to this week’s SHaQ Attack question: What book was set in Ballantrae? is Catch Me If You Can. Our lovely Blog Babe Julia B is this week’s lucky winner! Woo hoo!!

Tune in tomorrow for bonus PR3 MAC…and again Monday for the next Giveaway question.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

PS - they are announcing the celebs for this season’s Dancing With the Stars on Monday. How pathetic is it that I’m actually going to tape Good Morning America Monday morning so I’m the first to know? But I promise, I’ll share! :)

MAC Daddy Thursday…

First, Biggie Special K sends all his love and thanks for your undying support on his behalf. (But I’m keeping that hushpuppy option open. :) )

Okay….so it’s finale night on So You Think You Can Dance! We’re left with four dancers…Heidi, Donyelle, Travis, and Benji. A pretty solid final four, though I’d rank the guys as the top two. And how cool is it for these four - Benji and Heidi are cousins, then there’s the great friendship and partnership of Benji and Donyelle, and the great friendship with Travis as well. Such a tight foursome, though I do have my favorites, I’m happy with a win for any of them really.

And here we go… Only four dancers being introduced. The stage looks so empty. Then Cat comes out looking like the The Long Lost Blonde Supreme, but so obviously happy for the Final Four, we forgive her the descent into Dynasty Glam. And the dress is actually fitted quite well and looks pretty good, (lack of) cleavage and all. Golf clap, stylist!

Cat tells us that our four will dance solos, dance with each opposite sex partner, as well as their same sex partner. Should be fun!! She intros our judges and for our next to last episode, we get Uncle Nigel, Crack Mary and your favorite leprechaun and mine is back, My TV Boyfriend Brian! (who is sporting a tie. No whack jewelry, much to my dismay.)

So…I get to MAC 11 routines tonight. Whew! I’d better get started!!

First up we have Heidi/Travis doing Disco with Doriana. She explains that each routine will be short this week. I guess so! Here we go! To Shake Your Groove Thing we’re off and running. Travis in white Travolta pants/vest and Heidi in a flirty pink number. Lots and lots of lifts, which these two are well suited for physically. They look good together. Transitions aren’t all that smooth, but their enthusiasm is high. They look like they’re having a great time, which works for me. The partner dance part is great -wish there was more of that. (I will say, I do NOT get the appeal of the vee split leg thing for the female partners. Um…a little too GYNish for me, yaknowwhatI’msayin’?)

Judges? Lots of love from Nigel. Mary gives em even more of her special brand of crack love. And MTVB Brian continues the love fest!

Next is our last performance from the team that is Benji/Donyelle doing a Vietna–eh, Viennese Waltz with that wacky little Frenchman, John Marc choreographing. Here we go to I’ll Be. Benji in white jacket/black pants, Donyelle in a lovely blue gown that is the most figure flattering thing she’s worn in a quite a while now. (How is is they are killing themselves each week and getting leaner and leaner, and for whatever reason, Donyelle looks less lean to me now than before?)

It’s an interesting almost interpretive looking waltz, but they do well enough. You know, it’s funny, but for as much as I loved them paired early in the season, having seen Benji with other partners now, I’m not seeing the strength as much with these two, mostly with Donyelle. I wonder if she’d had another, less popular partner early on, if she’d still be in the competition. Not that she’s not great, but she’s a bit clunkier than you’d expect. Nice ending though!

Judges? Nigel says they weren’t particularly graceful. Not happy. Mary agrees with Nigel. MTVB Brian (who might not be bringing the heavy necklace action, but what is up with the sharkskin looking jacket? Ah, my eccentric boy babe. You never disappoint.) He’s not happy either, and gives probably the best critique of why it didn’t work. (All I could think was thank god Mia wasn’t on this week!) For me, it was Donyelle who brought it down, but maybe I’m biased. (Love her, but didn’t love this.)

Surprise field trip! Our F4 get whisked off after taping their dances Monday to the premiere of the new dance movie, Step Up (which I hope to see this weekend, too!) The leads are in the audience as well.

Next is Heidi with the first solo of the night to Rie y Llora. In wild peacock blue, she struts it out, Heidi Style, and I have to say, I am really impressed with her. Final 3 material easily. Well earned, girl. She is the best female partner by far.

Now we have Travis/Benji doing their duo dance. This should be way fun! Dancing Hip Hop with Shane Sparks squee! To Gyrate… Okay, the opening is so totally priceless, I had to watch it twice. They come racing on the stage as full bore geeks complete with dorky knee high socks, bermuda’s, and backpacks. Love it! Shane, you kill. I am ROLLING! They start to feel the music, ditch the backpacks, and let the beat into their bootyshakers. God, this is hilarious and way fun. They do get down eventually, and I have to say, love my Benji, but this is Travis’s night, y’all. He is ON.

Judges? Nigel loved it. Mary enjoyed herself and they get a Mary Scream. MTVB Brian kills with his own Mary Scream. Man, everybody is totally high tonight. It’s hilarious and great fun. Cat can’t handle the hijinks. It’s great to see everybody clearly so enjoying themselves. The vibe this year is such a good one. For all the critiques, you know these pros adore the dancers. Brian says they were dorktastic. :)

Next we get Donyelle with her solo. To Human she brings a contemporary routine very similar to her tryout routine that I loved so much. A strong performance for her. Not so manic, more controlled with a strong African influence, and beautiful. Which she is.

Commercial break: Celebrity Duets looks kinda cool. A Dancing With the Stars for Singers. Hmm.

Up now? Another solo, this one from Travis. Very acrobatic and herky jerky, but good.

Next we have some girl on girl action. (Oh come on!) with Donyelle/Heidi dancing Broadway to a Tyce number. I’ve lost most of my Tyce love. And why why why does he keep having to do Broadway? Ah well. Let’s hope it’s workable.

Dancing to Big Spender here we go. Very cute outfits, fun routine. Definitely more suited for Heidi’s over the top expression/acting. But it’s a bit basic. Still, it was fun.

Judges? Nigel agrees it was too simplistic and they needed to bring more to it, to compensate. Mary also slams Tyce’s routine (oucheroo) but says they worked what they had. My Funny Leprechaun Brian agrees. Poor Tyce. (But, for real, dude. It was the truth.)

Now we get Benji doing the night’s last solo. Dancing to The House is Rockin by Brian Setzer, he literally takes the stage by storm. Very full tilt Benji-riffic routine. The crowd is losing their collective minds and you really can’t take your eyes off of him. Very dynamic no matter what he does. Lotsa spins, not as much substance, but still fun.

Okay, here we go with the last pairs. First up is Travis/Donyelle doing a bluesy contemporary with Mia and so right off I’m picking this as the dance of the night. She’s got incredible talent to work with here and I am looking for something beyond the realm. I know we’ll get it with her. And with them. Yumm!

Dancing to Georgia on My Mind by The Man, Ray Charles (okay, opening strains of this song and I already have goosebumps…) here we go. It’s a far more playful piece than I’d have assumed, but delightful, truly. Travis brings out really good things in Donyelle and it’s a pleasure to see this as her final performance. That said, it is Travis’s night. I have to give him the win on talent, performance, charisma, partnership, in every way you can measure (and yet I think, based on popularity, it will be Benji.)

Judges? Nigel says they were beautiful. Mary says they were captivating. Brian says it was his fave Donyelle piece of the season and gives her a standing O. I agree.

Last pair for this season will be Benji/Heidi dancing Salsa (wheee!) with Alex. Dancing to La Comay we start off hot and stay that way. Well done - they are great partners.

Judges Nigel gives them a ton of love. Mary continues the love train. Brian invites them to perform at his birthday party. He’s all aboard.

You know, Benji and Heidi both had a very very strong night as well. It’s a tough call between them and Travis. (I’d place Donyelle a clear fourth, but with the other three, honestly, on talent/skill/performance - not popularity - any of them could take the title and I’d feel good about it.)

My prediction? Benji. Based on popular vote alone.

But first! Suprise group routine dance by Wade Robson! Woot!

Dancing to Sexy Back by Justin Timberlake we get the model pop group dance. Love it! Travis looks smokin hot. Heidi is killer. Donyelle is fierce. And Benji pulls a Zoolander Blue Steel. (Can I say I’d have never in a million years have known this was Timberlake. Wow.) All four of them totally nail this. It’s hard to know who to watch. Yay me for having it TiFauxed. I get to watch it again. And again. If I wanna. And I do.

We get a very heartfelt group hug as the season officially ends. Now we just await the results next week. I think it’s gonna be close between Benji and Travis…

PR3 MAC tomorrow…along with this week’s SHaQ winner!

So, there was this shark….

You know how you go to the fair and toss ping pong balls into the little goldfish bowls? And if you “win” you get to bring one of the little fellas home with you? Only then you find out it’s not any ordinary goldfish, but Otto the Amazing Growing Goldfish?

Okay, so in my case, it’s not a goldfish and there was no fair. In my case, because, you know, only me, my son’s girlfriend decided to bring him home a little fishie from her trip to the beach. A harmless little cutie that my son could plop in a small tank and take off to college with him. An easy dorm companion (on the off chance he didn’t hit it off with his roommate.) Something to keep him company as they will soon be parted from each other.

Yeah.

Now, I was okay with this, and even helped look into getting a small tank kit so fishie could go to college. Of course, like with the county fair goldfish, I figured his chances of survival that first week or so were probably pretty slim anyway, but I was playing along just in case. He hadn’t liked the ride home from the beach and spent much of his time floating at very odd angles, looking for all the world like he was going to meet his little fishie maker at any moment. My son was upset about his possible demise, as this was, after all, a Gift from his Girlfriend. Gifts are not supposed to die. But in those first few days, things did not look particularly positive. Clearly, fishie wasn’t doing well. Or so we thought.

As it turns out, apparently he just likes floating on his side. Or upside down. Or hanging vertically for hours. Just because he can.

Hence, he was christened Special K.

So…now that it looks like the little guy might actually make it to college, we need to get a tank. And to do that, we need find out what kind of fish he is. All his girlfriend knew was that it was some kind of shark fish. After a little sleuthing, I found out he is an Irridescent Shark. Which, upon further digging, one discovers is actually in a family of freshwater, exotic catfish. This last bit of news was imparted to me by a girl at my local fish store, who could barely conceal her mirth. I was perplexed. After all, they sold a number of varieties of catfish right there in her store. All except mine.

Turns out there is a reason for this.

Special K, as it happens, is a pangsius catfish. From Thailand. They don’t breed them here because, well…they get kinda large. The fish store girl, trying and failing to conceal her grin, went on to explain that, in the wild in Thailand, these fish can grow to be several feet long. I was sure I hadn’t heard her correctly. Surely she didn’t say FEET long. After all, he is a tiny little fishie.

Well. Not for long.

In fact, in the wild, they’ve been known to consume small children. Hmmm. If only my son’s girlfriend was a little more petite…

Okay, I’m kidding. About the girlfriend. She’s a sweetie who is just as horrified by the monster she has unleashed upon us as we are. I’m not, however, kidding about Special K. Who, like Otto, has begun to grow. Who, in fact, is thriving in his upside down, sideways, vertical aquatic world.

I imagine and quickly discard various scenarios where Special K mysteriously disappears. After all, he is a Symbol Of Their Love. I can’t flush a symbol. Tempting, but no. Besides, given the menagerie of critters in my house, clearly I’m not capable of critter homicide anyway.

Which means Special K needs a new aquatic environment. And quickly. This also means he can’t be a dorm fishie as, well, he’ll be a bit too large for dorm life before we even hit mid terms. So…yay me…that means I have a new pet. Whose life I must preserve, because, you know, symbol symbol symbol. My younger son pipes up that he’ll help. (He’s a critter collector like his mom. Except when it comes to, you know, the actual work involved.)

Okay. So fish girl tells me that in captivity, Special K won’t grow so big. Only, you know, about a foot, foot and a half.

Yeah. Almost downright petite in comparison. And, oh, by the way, he’s a schooling fish, so he’ll need a few buddies. And they can’t be just any other fish, because he’s a protein eater and, you know, they’ll end up as Scooby Snacks, if they’re too small. Oh, she adds, almost too delighted to share this part, when he gets bigger, I can feed him frozen bloodworms. It’s really cool to watch. I try not to gape.

What am I? Marlin Perkins all of a sudden? How did my life become Animal Kingdom in Action?

Great. Just great.

I sigh and ask grinning fish girl what size tank, exactly, will I need. After all, at the moment, he’s just a tiny little fish. I’m informed that something the size of a small couch would be best, but I could probably start a bit smaller for now. Only 37 gallons or so. You know. For starters.

I look at Special K. He stares back at me with his googly eyes and drifts on his side for awhile. I’m pretty sure he might have laughed at me. Hard to tell. The small stream of bubbles looked suspicious though.

So…fish girl puts me in contact with fish guy who actually owned a pair of these. He quite happily told me that his pair lived to be 12 years old.

TWELVE. YEARS.

I look at Special K. He’s definitely smirking.

So, here I am…three weeks later, now the proud owner of a very large fish tank and a very small, but soon to be gargantuan fish. I am learning all about water conditioning, cycling tanks, nitrites, filters, good bacteria and appropriate sub strata. Special K (also known as Biggie K now) along with a few fishie buddies, will be moving into his lavish new digs this weekend. If I can get my nitrates straight.

I will share photos of the Big Move next week. Special K sends his love.

PS…this just in. Someone sent me a picture of the record holding biggest catfish ever. Caught in, you guessed it, Thailand. And yep…that’s a Special K pangsius cat. Help me.

A little random MAC…

So, I was watching Treasure Hunters while working on a craft project for work last night and, surprisingly, found myself actually watching the show. It was the penultimate episode and a pretty darn good one. (And no, not just because the dorky ex-not really ever-CIA guys were booted.) I found myself rooting for the Geniuses, which was a first. But how could I not when their guy crawled around that ledge twenty-two stories up like a freaking squirrel? Because, me? You’d have had to peel me off of the floor inside the window and bodily force me out onto that ledge. NO way, not for any money, would you have gotten me to do that. Yowza!

I thought the clues this time were particularly challenging and interesting. (Although I wish the boat name they’d used for the cryptix was less random and more specific, so teams couldn’t just guess the word.) I thought Founders Hall was pretty cool. Actually, all the sites were. The American History shared in this program is fascinating. If only it could have been disseminated by anyone other than Max HeadCase. Preferably not over….and over….and over.

Team Air Force still rules, and I hope they win. The Southie Boys are grating on my last nerve, along with the dorky CIA guys, so either of them leaving wouldn’t have broken my heart. Although it was apparently not crafty editing that made the final race between CIA and the Geniuses appear as close as it was. It really was that close. How disappointing that must have been for those guys!

I’m looking forward to the live finale next week, when if you’d asked me a week ago, I’d have yawned and said, yeah, sure, whatever. I’m not sure how the live finale works, since this was taped a while back. I guess they just put the race on pause, then come back to do the final bit live. Talk about delayed gratification!

I’m not sure we’ll see this program again, but it has so many good qualities, I hope they fine tune it a little better and haul it out again next summer. Or, you know, not. Summer programming this season has left so much to be desired. And the few we have enjoyed (Dance anyone?) are almost over.

Is it the Fall season yet? And is it me? Or does the avalanche of fall advertising seem mostly centered on like, one or two new shows? (Of course, I TiFaux, so I don’t see most commercials anyway…..but still…..)

So…what fall programs are you looking forward to? For me, my inner reality show diva is shamelessly looking forward to the Big Three. Yes, Survivor, Amazing Race, and everyone’s favorite, Dancing With The Stars. :) (Although if rumors are true and Jerry Springer is on there this season…well, let’s just say I’d rather have Random Rap Dude again. Please America, I beg you, vote him out after week one. Just….ew.)

SHaQ Attack Monday!

Good morning, everyone!

I’m still pulling together books for all the blog winners and all my website winners from last week — but your books are coming! I have 25+ packages to put together, so bear with me. (Why couldn’t Donyelle have gone home last week, huh? :) )

This week…we’re only going to have one winner. LOL The SHaQ question is:

Which book of mine is set in Ballantrae?

Hint: Answer not necessarily on my website…but powers of deductive reasoning could give you a pretty good guess. :)

Do you know the answer? If so, email me at donna@donnakauffman.com with “I got it!” in the subject line. Winner will be drawn from correct entries and announced this Friday. The prize? A signed copy of the correct answer.

Happy Monday everyone!
